What is blagging?  It is commonly defined as “knowingly or recklessly obtaining or disclosing personal data or information without the consent of the data controller.”  The most commonly cited example of this is the hacking of emails and voicemails by various parties on behalf of the News of the World organization.  The fallout from that has been wide spread and continues to evolve.
